Ivernia Announces Resumption of Rail Transportation

02/07/2014

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 7, 2014) - Ivernia Inc. ("Ivernia" and, collectively with its subsidiaries, the "Company") (TSX:IVW) today provided a transportation and operations update for its wholly-owned Paroo Station Mine (the "Mine" or the "Mining Operations").

The Company is pleased to announce that the Leonora to Kalgoorlie rail link is now back in full operation 2 weeks ahead of previous advice following track repair and maintenance by the rail line owner. As previously announced, the Goldfields area of Western Australia experienced an unusually high amount of rainfall in the second half of January which caused rail transportation along this line to be suspended. The line is used by the Company to transport lead carbonate concentrate from the Mine to customers via the Port of Fremantle.

Normalized shipments of containerized transportation of the Company's concentrate by rail from Leonora has now resumed. During the period of transportation suspension, the Company and its management team was able to ensure there were no material disruptions to mining and milling operations.

"The response to this very unusual rainfall event was a true testament to the strength, organization, and resilience of the management team," said The Honorable J. Trevor Eyton, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ivernia. "I commend the team for its innovative approach to problem solving and the utilization of the solid trust based relationships that they have built over the last 12 months with stakeholders under the leadership of Enirgi Group."
